If you stake

  • Unstaking locks your tokens for 14 days; they earn nothing meanwhile.
  • Up to 7 unbondings or redelegations at once per validator.
  • Validators charge at least 5% commission.
  • None of the rewards go to the community pool.

If you validate

  • Only the top 30 by stake sign blocks and earn.
  • Sign at least 80% of the last 80,000 blocks or get jailed for 1 min, with no slash.
  • Double-signing burns 5% of the stake and bans the validator for good.

If you propose

  • Deposit 30,000 OSMO within 14 days, at least 25% up front.
  • Voting lasts 5 days: 30% must vote, over 50% yes, under 33.4% veto.
  • Expedited: 100,000 OSMO, 1 day and 80% yes.
  • A veto burns the deposit; missing quorum returns it.
