This proposal seeks approval to whitelist an address for deploying the strategy game Mad Pots on the Osmosis network. Mad Pots, inspired by Mad Scientists, is a non-commercial game designed to boost on-chain activity and community engagement. All collected fees will support future game pots, prizes, and Mad Scientists-related activities.
This proposal follows a forum discussion where the community expressed interest and support. You can review the conversation [Hidden link].
Mad Pots is a strategic game where players predict which pot will win out of five, each with unique conditions. It avoids randomness, encouraging strategic thinking and engagement. Try the Neutron version here: [Hidden link].
Osmosis has seen increased activity from the Mad Scientists NFTs and the memecoin launchpad start.cooking. Deploying Mad Pots here will further stimulate the $OSMO ecosystem and provide enjoyable community interaction.
Fees collected from the game will be reinvested into the treasury, supporting future pots, prizes, and Mad Scientists-related activities such as $LAB buyback for further burns or redistributions. In the event that all pots win in a given round, resulting in a drained contract balance, the fees will be used as initial funds for the next round's pots.
Mad Scientists NFT holders will benefit from reduced minimum bet amounts, increasing with each NFT they own. This incentivizes the return of Stargaze-bridged MADs to Osmosis and promotes diverse betting strategies.
