Currently, the active set for consensus participants of the Nolus network is 40. This number was enough for launching the chain and bringing it to its current state. In the spirit of the IBC community and decentralization, a larger active set is suggested. Increasing the number of validators in the active set from 40 to 50 would create additional opportunities for individuals and organizations to support the network as validators and make their added services even more visible to the broader community. This would in turn increase the options available to investors interested in selecting a validator that aligns with their philosophy for the network. By voting YES to this proposal, you agree to boost the decentralization of the Nolus mainnet by increasing the active set to 50.
