If you stake

  • Unstaking locks your tokens for 21 days; they earn nothing meanwhile.
  • Up to 50 unbondings or redelegations at once per validator.
  • Validators charge at least 1% commission.
  • 2% of rewards goes to the community pool.

If you validate

  • Only the top 100 by stake sign blocks and earn.
  • Sign at least 50% of the last 3,500 blocks or get jailed for 10 min, with no slash.
  • Double-signing burns 0% of the stake and bans the validator for good.

If you propose

  • Deposit 7,000 LAVA within 2 days, at least 25% up front.
  • Voting lasts 4 days: 33.4% must vote, over 50% yes, under 33.4% veto.
  • Expedited: 14,000 LAVA, 3 hours and 66.7% yes.
  • A veto burns the deposit; missing quorum returns it.
