This proposal changes the maker rate discount to 0% for all tiers as all liquid markets have negative maker fees which came into effect when proposals 162 and 163 passed. Moreover, this proposal changes the threshold of each tier, namely by increasing the required volume traded in the past 28 days for each tier. Finally, this proposal also reduces the staked amount required for the tier 9.
The proposed new fee discount tiers are as follow:
- Tier 1: Staked amount = 25 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 100,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 2: Staked amount = 100 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 250,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 3: Staked amount = 250 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 500,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 4: Staked amount = 750 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 1,250,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 5: Staked amount = 2,000 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 2,500,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 6: Staked amount = 5,000 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 5,000,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 7: Staked amount = 12,500 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 10,000,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 8: Staked amount = 30,000 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 50,000,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
- Tier 9: Staked amount = 75,000 INJ or above; Volume traded in the past 28 days = 100,000,000 USD or above; and Maker rate discount = 0%
