If you stake

  • Unstaking locks your tokens for 21 days; they earn nothing meanwhile.
  • Up to 7 unbondings or redelegations at once per validator.
  • Validators charge at least 5% commission.
  • None of the rewards go to the community pool.

If you validate

  • Only the top 21 by stake sign blocks and earn.
  • Sign at least 20% of the last 8,192 blocks or get jailed for 2 hours, with no slash.
  • Double-signing burns 0% of the stake and bans the validator for good.

If you propose

  • Deposit 2,000 DYDX within 1 day, at least 20% up front.
  • Voting lasts 3 days: 50% must vote, over 50% yes, under 33.4% veto.
  • Expedited: 2,100 DYDX, 1 day 12 hours and 75% yes.
  • A veto burns the deposit; missing quorum returns it.
