Babylon v2.3 introduces a hotfix that prevents FPs from registering with BABY addresses already in use, along with various other improvements.

To ensure a smooth upgrade, we kindly request the following actions from you:

During the governance proposal (until Friday 19 September 11 AM UTC):

• If you are a CometBFT Validator, vote YES for the governance proposal ([Hidden link]).

Prior to the upgrade height (until Friday 19 September 12 PM UTC):

• Prepare the upgrade binary by following the instructions documented [Hidden link].

When the upgrade height is reached (at Friday 19 September 12 PM UTC):

• Perform the steps documented [Hidden link] to upgrade your node
• Verify that the upgrade was successful
  • If you are a CometBFT Validator, ensure your node is signing new blocks.
  • If you are not a CometBFT Validator, verify that your node is syncing the latest blocks.
