TL;DR

We propose the launch of the Akash Adoption Lab, an 18-month initiative designed to accelerate developer and enterprise adoption of the Akash Network through strategic content, workshops, media amplification, and targeted campaigns.

The Adoption Lab will serve as the go-to entry point for new users, enterprises, and developers exploring Akash. By combining quarterly reports, developer workshops, and a dedicated media hub, the Lab will showcase Akash’s potential, simplify onboarding, and expand brand visibility across the AI, Web3, and DevOps ecosystems.

Budget Requested:

  • $100,000 USD (payable in AKT) every 6 months, over 18 months (total: $300,000).
  • First tranche (100k) payable immediately upon proposal approval.
  • Funds fully unlocked at the time of each payment (no vesting, lockups, or cliffs).

What the Akash Adoption Lab Will Do

1. Akash Adoption Reports (Quarterly)

Professional reports showcasing:

  • Case studies and success stories of projects deployed on Akash.
  • Comparative benchmarks (Akash vs. AWS/GCP vs. other DeCloud solutions).
  • Opportunities in AI, DeFi, and gaming workloads.
  • Strategic recommendations for institutions and enterprises.

2. Developer & Enterprise Workshops (6 total)

Hands-on sessions, both virtual and IRL, hosted in key hubs (Lisbon, Paris, Dubai, San Francisco, etc.), covering:

  • Onboarding new providers and validators.
  • Helping startups deploy AI/gaming workloads on Akash.
  • Simple “one-click deployment” guides for mainstream adoption.

3. Media Hub & Content Engine

  • Launch of a dedicated platform: adoption.akash.network.
  • Continuous production of high-quality media: blogs, explainer videos, and interviews with builders.
  • Distribution across multiple channels (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletters).

4. Targeted Campaigns

  • Sponsored campaigns focused on “Deploy AI on Akash” for developer and AI communities.
  • Partnerships with key influencers and media outlets in crypto/AI.
  • Consistent messaging to position Akash as the decentralized cloud alternative.

Why This Matters (Strategic Value to Akash)

  • Mass Onboarding: Removes friction for new developers and enterprises, directly boosting active deployments.
  • Narrative Control: Positions Akash as the leader in decentralized compute for AI and Web3.
  • Premium Visibility: Professional content and campaigns ensure Akash stays in front of investors, institutions, and the technical community.
  • Credibility & Benchmarks: Published reports and comparative analyses reinforce Akash’s reputation in a competitive landscape.

Budget & Payment Structure

  • Total Budget: $300,000 (in AKT).
  • Payment Schedule:
    • Tranche 1: $100,000 — immediately upon proposal approval (Q4 2025).
    • Tranche 2: $100,000 — July 2026.
    • Tranche 3: $100,000 — January 2027.

Funds will cover research, content production, event hosting, campaign execution, and ongoing platform maintenance.
